CCAIA is education over sales. Vendors participate, not pitch.

Membership type follows the individual member's job function. Consultant and practitioner memberships are individual; vendor membership is company-level and includes 5 seats.

Chapter meeting attendance

Practitioners first: the 70/30 rule

At least 70% of the people at every chapter meeting are practitioners, so support leaders can speak candidly about what happens inside their companies. Vendors and consultants are welcome and make up no more than 30% of the room.

  • Practitioner members are guaranteed a seat at chapter meetings.
  • Vendor and consultant members apply to attend each meeting through the member portal. Membership is required to apply but does not guarantee a seat.
  • Local practitioner leaders rank applicants on merit: who they believe will add the most to that meeting's topics.
  • Invitations go out in ranked order as practitioner registrations grow. Applicants who aren't selected stay on the waitlist.
  • There is no virtual or watch-only option for vendors and consultants. Meeting Insights are shared with all members.
